With the new large data volume increase trend, researchers and end users of scientific data now require server-side processing systems to reduce transfer, memory, and file format/standard issues. This is especially beneficial for data users with limited access to high performance facilities or with limited network bandwidth.

Via the new IS-ENES3 Transnational Access (TNA) service, new data near processing capabilities at the centers DKRZ, CNRS-IPSL, STFC-JASMIN (at CEDA), and CMCC will be made accessible to a broader user community. These processing capabilities (compute and storage) support multi-model server-side data analyses through direct access to large data pools including replicated data from the European as well as non-European ESGF data nodes for CMIP6 and CORDEX.

The application deadline is the 31st of October 2019.
