You will be expected to have a minimum of a First degree in physics, mathematics, meteorology, engineering, or a similar subject, a PhD (or equivalent qualification) in meteorology, atmospheric physics or oceanography or a related subject, awarded or to be awarded within six months of appointment. You must also show evidence of independent working and be able to meet all the essential criteria in the person specification.

This full time post is available from 1 April 2019, or soon thereafter, on a fixed-term basis for 30 months.
